There are places in this world where it can be messed up but you still want to be there no matter what, and there are places in this world where it can be messed up and all you want to do is to get the hell out of there. After a few months being here, sadly, I've realized that Singapore belongs to the latter.
Something just doesn't seem right about this place. And I fear if I stay on for too long I will no longer be able to see what is truly good about the world and about the human spirit in spite of it constantly being shrouded in the contrary. That is something I would sorely hate to lose.
Though when the time comes that I realize I can take no more of this place, I hope I will not have to leave alone.
